FIVE PRIESTS AND THREE DEACONS ORDAINED

On this auspicious day, December 19, 2020, at St Patrick Catholic Church Ovom, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, the Bishop of the Cathollc Diocese of Bomadi, Most Rev. Hyacinth EGBEBO, MSP ordained five priests and three deacons.

They are:
(L-R) Rev. Fr Jude Lawrence, Rev. Fr Jude Ikpaikpai, Rev. Fr John Frofoun, Rev. Anthony Dinyelu, Bishop Hyacinth Egbebo, Rev. Andrew Gboru, Rev. Francis Kiapene, Rev. Fr Nathaniel Asigo and Rev. Fr Godswill Akpens.

The newly ordained priests were posted to the following parishes as curates:

(1) Rev. Fr Jude Lawrence, St Michael Catholic Church, Ogriagbene, Delta State.

(2) Rev. Fr Jude Ikpaikpai,  St Paul Catholic Church, Famgbe, Bayelsa State.

(3) Rev. Fr John Frofoun, Our Lady of the Waters Cathedral, Bomadi, Delta State.

(4) Rev. Fr Nathaniel Asigo, St Matthias Catholic Church, Amarata, Bayelsa State, and;

(5) Rev. Fr Godswill Akpens, St Joseph Catholic Church, Agudama-epie, Bayelsa State.

Lord, lift up your holy priests; grant them the graces they need to administer your people. Keep them pure and strong in your love; give them courage when things are difficult, and accompany them when they are lonely; strengthen them in times of weakness, and may they never disgrace the grace of their Ordination. Amen.
